DESCRIPTION:The Pennsylvania Bureau of Forestry\, Division of Forest Fire Protection has announced the Pennsylvania Wildland Fire Academy. Registration is now open for the Academy\, taking place from May 26th to May 31st at Shippensburg University. The course matrix and official announcement are attached for your reference. See below for details on the registration process. \n2026 PA Academy Training Announcement \n2026 PA Academy Course Matrix \nEarly registration will be open for all classes until April 10\, 2026. Registration will remain active for classes with open seats until May 17\, 2026. Student selection letters will begin to be emailed after April 10\, 2026. \nNote: Basic students and FFT1/CRWB OJT candidates for the 2026 PA Wildland Fire Academy must register through their local Forest District and cannot sign up via the TicketLeap site.

DESCRIPTION:The Pennsylvania Prescribed Fire Council will be hosting a PA certified Burn Manager class in State College\, PA this fall.
