Minimum Training

Please refer to Appendix D of the PA Fire Standards document for steps to becoming CPBM.

It is recommended that at least three operational periods as a crew member are completed prior to attending the Certified Prescribed Burn Manager Course. One wildfire assignment can be counted towards the five total operational periods required to become a fully Certified Prescribed Burn Manager.
